Pumpkin Art!

Five little pumpkins!
Carson Picasso working on his masterpiece.

Our very own little pumpkin gutter!

Carson going to town and pulling out all ooey gooey stuff!

Keira painting her carved Hello Kitty pumpkin.

Miss Keira had way too much fun with the paint!

Carson always has Diamondbacks and baseball on his mind! It's no wonder why he choose to carve and paint a Stephen Drew #6 pumpkin. He kept on saying, "I'm an artist, I'm an artist" as he was painting!

Keira decided that painting in the nude was so much better! Love it:-)

On Halloween Eve the kids and I hollowed out our pumpkins and turned them into some serious pumpkin art! Carson, Keira and I had way too much fun making a huge mess in the process, but it was well worth it! Seriously, who doesn't love pumpkin guts, slimy strings and seeds? Add some paint into the mix and you have some happy happy kids. I didn't know that my kids could focus that long! Ha! Cayden was too busy to join in the fun, but he did make sure to pick a design for me to carve! Next post I will unveil our finished pumpkins and costumes too! Halloween traditions are the best.

Fall Parties!

Halloween Hooray from Clubhouse Minnie Mouse! Keira was so excited to go to her preschool Halloween party!

Keira at her preschool Halloween party! She looked adorable all dolled up.

Carson is quite the ladies' man at school! Nothing like a man in a S.W.A.T. uniform!

The S.W.A.T. Officer, his teacher dressed as a dog and the devil!

Keira and I with Carson at his Fall party. I was over the cookie decorating center and spent all morning baking my homemade pumpkin and ghost sugar cookies for the kids to decorate! Fun!

Little Miss Pumpkin had fun going to all the different Halloween Centers with Carson. Look what a great job she did decorating her cookie!

Now that's some serious amount of sprinkles on and around that cookie. Can you say sugar high?!

The S.W.A.T. Officer and friends getting ready to participate in the school Halloween parade! It was so fun to see all the hundreds of costumes:-)

Halloween day Cayden went to his friend Kyle's Fall party! I just had to take a picture of all the fun treats that were sent home for our family to enjoy (there was even more fun stuff at the party). You will be impressed to know that ALL of this was handmade by Kyle's Dad, Bill. Yes, this man puts us ladies to shame in the cooking department. He takes off a few days every year from work to bake and put on a top notch party for his two kids and their friends. What a cool Dad:-)

The kids had such a spooktacular time at their Fall Parties this year. I don't have any pictures of Cayden at his school party because I was at Carson's party at a completely different school. I wish I could have been at two different places at once, but Cayden understood that it was Carson's turn now that he is in Kindergarten. I felt bad because I have never once missed one of Cayden's school parties. I did feel better about the situation after going to Cayden's class and dropping off 30 pumpkin spice chocolate chip cookies for his class to enjoy (they ate them all)!

A Day at Schnepf Farms!

Kindergarten Field Trip! Carson is pictured with his awesome teacher, Miss B., and a few of his favorite classmates. I was the chaperone for Carson, Garret and Liam. They were all so well behaved (thank goodness) and had a blast together!

Carson in the petting barn! Such a cute little cow.

Carson & friends went down Witch Mountain giant slide over and over. Fun!

Carson and Liam riding high on the honeybee adventure.

I got my workout driving these boys around the country road rally! I don't know how I did it:-)

We had fun running through the corn maze! We sure did find lots of corn!

I've got corn coming out of my ears!

Hands up! Carson and Garret riding the gravity roller coaster!

The boys loved the Rocket's K-9 Comets Frisbee Dog Show! These dogs have performed all over the United States and are amazing!

Carson and his school friends waiting for the hay ride!

Carson even got to pick out a pumpkin to take home from the pumpkin patch!

We absolutely love going to Schnepf Farms each year for their Pumpkin & Chili Party! We have gone every year since we moved to Arizona back in 2000! Carson and I were the only two to go this year from our family (we couldn't fit another time in for the rest of the family to go). The weather was so very cool and refreshing compared to all the other years that we have went and sweated our butts off! I'm so glad I had the opportunity to chaperone the field trip to the farm! All the Kindergartners had such a good time. I can't wait to go back next year:-)

Walt Disney World Resort - Epcot

Carson bright and early at Sky Harbor Airport (Phoenix) getting ready to fly to Orlando, Florida!
The weather was great was great in Florida! Our resort in Kissimmee, Florida had some cool pools and water slides. Here is Cayden going down one of the water slides for the millionth time!
Day two (October 13th) we headed to Disney World's Epcot theme park! That giant golf ball behind us is Epcot's icon, Spaceship Earth (it is also a ride)! We all wore our favorite Disney shirt this day!

Our favorite ride of the day, Test Track! This is an awesome thrill ride that reaches 60 miles per hour (it is one of the fastest rides in all of Disney Parks)! We all had to ride this a few times.

Carson and Mark in their "clamobile" during The Seas with Nemo & Friends ride! The Seas with Nemo & Friends is a Pavilion that features a massive aquarium that holds one of the largest man-made ocean environments in the world. We saw everything from dolphins, sharks to sea turtles! You could easily spend hours in this area.

Carson being eaten by Bruce the shark from Finding Nemo!

Carson and Mickey! Carson loves his characters and will stand in line for however long it takes to get their autographs, hugs and a picture! This character spot was indoor and had five different characters we were able to meet (sweet)!

Mark, Carson and Jaime with Donald Duck. Cayden was off riding rides with Aunt MacKenzie and Grandma Cindy, but they did return just in time for a picture with Goofy.

The Epcot gang with Goofy! We had such a fun day together as family:-)

Grandma Cindy and Carson sampling Coca-Cola from around the World for free! This place has several fountain drink stations that feature the drinks that are popular in other countries. This is Epcot's best kept secret!

Rain? Well, we thought it was going to pore down on us, but all it did was sprinkle for a few minutes! At least we were prepared!

We visited Mexico where we rode a boat and Carson got to make his very own mask!

Cayden and I having a ball inside Spaceship Earth!

Grandma Cindy Carrying Carson after a long day of fun at Epcot!

Cayden out on the bus ride home from Epcot! He slept well that night!

For Fall Break Grandma Cindy, Grandpa George and Papa Bear treated us to an early Christmas Gift and sent us to Florida to visit the 4 Theme Parks at Walt Disney World Resort! Mark and I had both been to Disney World before as kids, but it was our own kids first time. Keira stayed home and was spoiled by Aunt Abby, Uncle Kelvin and cousin Lexie (Keira didn't miss us one bit)! Grandma Cindy and my sister, MacKenzie, came along too! Even Grandma Sharon flew in for a few days of Disney fun!
Epcot was such a blast! This place is twice the size of Magic Kingdom theme park and required a lot of walking (no one complained)! The shows, entertainment, food and rides were all so very unique and fun. We were able to stop by this park a few times during our Disney vacation!

No Cavity Club

After Carson and Keira's dental check up and cleaning last week they became official members of the "No Cavity Club"! Keira received an official "No Cavity Club Member" shirt, but Carson had to settle for a frisbee since they ran out of shirts in his size! Both kids had their picture taken for the wall of fame and are just so proud of themselves. Cayden goes to his dental appointment next month and hopes to still be in the no cavity club(he was cavity-free at his last check up)!
Little Miss Cavity-Free showing off the back of her new shirt!
