Christmas Break Fun 2011

Sierra Vista and Vail, Arizona!

Cousin Jaycie holding Kobe!  The kids and I had so much fun down in Sierra Vista hanging out with Papa Bear and my sister Karisa and her family for part of Christmas break!  We went to the movies and to the Cove indoor aquatic center, out to eat, had a bunch of sleepovers and lots of fun together playing and hanging out!  Here are some pictures of a few things we did!

My mom and George took us out to eat at Mama's Hawaiian Bar-B-Cue in Tucson.  I have been to Hawaii twice with them on vacation and they know of my love for Hawaiian plate lunches!  Check this yummy place out http://www.mamashawaiianbbq.com/. It will make you feel like you have gone to the Islands!

My Mom made her famous 5 pound Christmas fudge for us!  This is my grandma Goodsell's recipe and it is so good!

Hiking Brown Canyon

The Brown Canyon hiking crew!  Papa Bear, Hallie, Carson, Keira, Karlie and yours truly behind the camera!

We started with a hike to the Brown Canyon Ranch House!  If you look closely you can see the four kids in the distance that took off without us!

The weather was perfect for a hike!

We made it to the old ranch house.  This house was built back in 1905!

It's hard to believe that one year earlier my dad had just  had hip replacement surgery and could barely walk!  And now he is back to walking, biking or hiking several miles every day!

Heading home!  What a great time we had hiking in beautiful southern Arizona.  Thanks, dad!

Keira was so excited to get Just Dance 3 for the Kinect,  a huge doll house with all the Disney Princess dolls and all the Toy Story characters!  I always wanted a barbie house when I was her age!  She also got a pink Nintendo 3DS of her own so she doesn't have to sneak and play Cayden or Carson's DS!

Keira got her very own Justin Bieber tooth brush that sings while she brushes her teeth!  I'm positive that she will now brush her teeth more often and much longer.  LOL! Check out the video at the end of this post to see her dancing and brushing her teeth!
