Carson's School Birthday Celebration!

Friday, January 7, 2011
Day before Carson's 7th Birthday

Before Carson's school birthday celebration, Carson and his teacher, Ms. A., had to show me a fun game that Carson likes to play! Carson and Ms. A. doing rock-paper-scissors to see who would go first in their spelling/memory game! Ms. A. told me that she loves to play against Carson because he is very competitive like her! LOL!

That's my little cutie and his fun teacher playing their game! Carson loves to play learning games and is quite good! He thrives on competition:-)

After Carson's class sang the Happy Birthday song to him, he got to choose if he wanted 7 tickles or 7 pretend spankings! He chose the tickles from the girls! LOL!

Carson lovin' all the birthday tickles from the girls!

After the birthday song and tickles it was donut time! I told Carson he could bring any snack he wanted for his birthday to share with his class and he chose chocolate, pink and white sprinkle donuts! They were yummy!

Carson passing out his birthday donuts to his class!

The birthday boy taking the first bite!

Say donuts! Carson and Ms. A.'s first grade class getting ready to chow down on their donuts!

New Year's Eve 2010

December 31, 2010

We started the evening off early with some bowling in Mesa!

This was Lexie's (my niece) first time bowling! Cayden, Carson and Keira were there every step of the way to help her! So cute! Lexie did such a great job and had lots of fun!

Keira and Grandma Cindy!

Carson, Grandma Cindy and Lexie!

Cute cousins! These two love being together!

Wassup!

I bowled a TURKEY!

Another form of proof that I did bowl a turkey! This was the first time in a very long time that I bowled over 1oo! Go me!

On New Year's Eve Mark surprised me with a dozen roses and a bottle of Martinelli's sparkling cider! I love my husband:-)

After bowling, I picked up Mark, and we all headed over to Grandma Cindy and Grandpa George's timeshare the Legacy Golf Resort in Phoenix! Uncle Kelvin loves to pick Carson up by his head! Ouch!

Grandma Cindy and Grandpa George fed us pizza and wings from Barro's Pizza!

We had endless bottles of sparkling cider and soda!

We played BINGO and snacked on yummy treats! It was my lucky night and our whole family walked away with a tons of prizes once again!

Grandpa George and silly Keira!

As the clock got closer to midnight we through on our Happy New Year's hats and leis and started blowing our horns!

Grandpa George and Grandma Cindy!

Little Miss Keira! She just had to have the pink party hat and lei!

Lexie, Abby (my baby sister) and Kelvin!

My poor sick hubby and I! Mark was such a good sport and stayed almost until midnight even though he wasn't feeling good! The kids got to spend the night at the resort!

Things got a little crazy:-)

Our condo had a huge whirlpool tub! Since it was so cold out, the kids decided to play in the tub instead of going to the jacuzzi!

Proud Dad, Blair, with the Stevens!

After the ceremony we had a luncheon at Tia Rosa's! This was the beautiful cake that we ate in honor of the Stevens! Seriously the best cake and frosting I have ever had. If you are in need of a cake for any occasion or just a sweet treat, check out Sugarlips Cakery in Mesa http://www.sugarlipscakery.com/index.html!

Some of the family and friends at the luncheon!

Justin (brother-in-law), Karisa (my sis) and Aunt DeAnn at Tia Rosa's!

Kelvin and Abby with one of Kelvin's brothers, Neil, and two of his sisters, Laure (and son) and Camille!

On December 30th, Mark and I were able to attend the sealing of my little sister, Abby, to her husband, Kelvin and daughter, Lexie! It was a crazy cold and windy day for Mesa and as we were leaving it started to randomly snow for two minutes. There was over 30 friends and family in the Temple to support Abby and Kelvin. There is a group picture that was taken of the majority of us in attendance, but I am waiting to get my hands on a copy. I will post that once I recieve it. After the ceremony, my parents and step-dad put on a luncheon at our favorite Mexican restaraunt in Mesa, Rancho de Tia Rosa, in one of their party rooms! Congratulations to Abby and Kelvin! I loved being a part of your special day!

Disney filmed a movie at Colossal Cave called "The Outlaw Cats of Colossal Cave."

Aunt DeAnn, yours truly, Carson, Keira, Grandpa George and Grandma Cindy at the entrance to the cave! My Mom and the kids and I had all done the cave tour before back in 2009 http://markandjaimefryer.blogspot.com/2009/08/colossal-cave.html and had a ton of fun! We took my Aunt to check it out after our horse back ride!

Carson and Aunt DeAnn inside the cave!

The tour is around a 1/2 mile long and 363 steps! We got our exercise in for the day!

Since the cave is dry and dead you can touch the formations!
