Disney Christmas Vacation 2011-Day 2

Day 2

We started off the morning in the Emergency Room at UC Irvine Medical Center! Carson had fell or been pushed off a huge cement tree pot in the tram area the night before at Disneyland. Carson isn't one to complain and when he still complained in the morning that his arm hurt we decided to take him to the emergency room(thank goodness for good insurance)! The kids and I waited sometime in the emergency room while Mark was with Carson, but we then made our way over to the awesome outlets right across the street. After a few hour wait, the doctor said Carson had a bad sprain and was given a sling to wear! Thank goodness no broken bones.

Mark once again found an awesome place off of Yelp for us to go and eat a late lunch/early dinner! We ate at BRUXIE Gourmet Waffle Sandwiches http://bruxie.com/ in cute Old Towne Orange! This food stand serves everything from breakfast, lunch, dinner and even dessert on a waffle (not your ordinary waffle) and it is delicious! I had a hard time not wanting to order everything on the menu! Next time you are in the Disneyland area, give this place a try. You will LOVE it!

Carson ate with one hand a huge Bruxie Burger! Who would of ever thought that a hamburger on a waffle would be so good?! Carson chowed that waffle burger right down! We had a good laugh at watching him eat this with only one hand!

Mark ordered the famous Hot Pastrami Bruxie and LOVED it!

I had the Roasted Mushroom & Goat Cheese with Sun-Dried Tomatoes Bruxie! It was to die for and so fresh! My mouth is watering just thinking about it.

Cayden ordered the Bacon, Egg & Cheddar Bruxie! I am going to attempt to make this yummy Bruxie at home for breakfast one of these days!

Little Miss Keira ordered a dessert waffle! She has a real sweet tooth like her mom! Check the S'Mores Bruxie out! Of course, I had a few bites and it was fabulous!

We ended our day with a trip to Newport Beach! One of my favorite places to be is at the beach! I wish we lived much closer to one!

Kobe's first visit to the beach! We rolled him right out there in his stroller! Kobe's darling "BYU" hat was made by Mark's Aunt Kairle (Grandma Sharon's sister)!

Carson's arm started feeling much better! LOL! He took his shoes off to run up and down the beach!

Disney Christmas Vacation 2011

Day 1

Mark aka Mark Mickey Mouse Fryer (my sis Karisa gave him that name) dressed in his new Mickey Christmas shirt that I bought him!

Kobe all dressed up from head to toe in his new Mickey attire! I just love his mouse ears!

Kobe at 1 month and 1 day made his first visit to Disneyland! He even got a badge of his own to wear! Kobe pretty much slept the entire time. I had to wake him to feed and change him! Perfect age to bring a baby to Disneyland.

First ride of the day was the Astro Orbitor!

Keira and I rode in the rocket together! Fun!

These two rode Space Mountain several times in a row! No ride is too scary for them! One ride was good enough for me!

Cayden and the Disney Turkey Legs have a love hate relationship! Lets just say that Cayden loves to eat them, but his body doesn't always approve of it! He learned the hard way this time in the middle of the desert late at night on the way back to Arizona! LOL! I'm not sure if he will ever eat another turkey leg again! LOL!

Mark just couldn't pass up this humongous pickle to snack on!

Poor Carson fell or was pushed off (not quite sure what really happened) a huge cement tree pot in the tram area. He fell pretty hard and landed on his face and hand. He got a bloody nose and complained that his arm hurt! He fell asleep back out the hotel while we were icing his arm. We ended up taking him the next morning to the Emergency room. That's a whole other story for my Disney Christmas Vacation day two blog post!

Kobe's Newborn Photo Shoot

My awesome and talented friend Trudy of Cottage Ink Photography by Trudy Hill http://cottageink.smugmug.com/ did Kobe's newborn photo shoot as a baby gift to Kobe! Trudy has not photographed many babies and did such an amazing job! I absolutely love the pictures of my little man! Kobe only peed once while naked (see picture below) and was such a little angel during the photo shoot! He was even holding his head up in a few of the pictures! Here are a some of my favorites!

11 pounds!

On the day Kobe turned one month I took him in for his weekly weight check that he was doing since he lost weight after he was born! Kobe's doctor and I were more than pleased to see that he was a whopping 11 pounds with his diaper on and off! Exactly one pound more than his 10 pound birth weight!
