We felt quite safe down under with the 8-foot thick walls and 3-ton blast doors. It was interesting to hear about what it was like for those that worked here.
Hallie and Carson in the launch control center found out what it felt like to have their finger on the button of a nuclear missile! They were asked to be Missile Combat Crew Commanders in the simulated launch and had the big job of turning the key to launch the missile. I can't even imagine having this job:-)

The White Dove of the Desert. This historic Spanish Catholic mission is over 300 years old and still holds weekly church services.
The church's interior is amazing and is filled with beautiful artwork, carvings and mural paintings.
Cayden, Hallie and Carson thought this place was pretty cool! They couldn't believe that it had been around since the 18th century.
The San Xavier Mission is such a striking sight! Check it out next time you are in Tucson.
