San Pedro River

The San Pedro River is about 10 miles south of Sierra Vista and 5 miles west of Tombstone. The San Pedro is one of only two rivers which flow from Mexico into the United States. Monsoon rain had not started up in full force so the river was very low, but perfect for the kids to play in!

The San Pedro river is a major smuggling route and a Tucson news channel was there doing a segment on it.
