Learn.Laugh.Play.

The Arizona Museum for Youth
Kindergarten Field Trip

Abraham, Carson and Ethan waiting to enter the museum! I was the chaperone over these three for the day!
Miss B.'s Kindergarten class learning about patterns!

Hands-on learning is so much fun!

The kiddos getting ready to start an art project! What a little goofball Carson is! LOL!

I had fun trying something new with my camera by holding a kaleidoscope over my lens! Way cool.

After the museum we went to the Desert Breeze Park in Chandler to have a picnic and play! This is Carson and his teacher getting ready to race each other down the slide! Miss B. is such a fun teacher:-)

Garrett, Armani, Carson and Ethan just chillin!

Garrett, Armani, Carson, Ethan, James and Liam the Kindergartners soon to be First Graders! Gee, this school year has flown by!

Carson's Kindergarten class went on a fun field trip to the Arizona Youth Museum in Mesa! We were able to explore and participate in the Pattern Wizardry and Playball! The Cactus League Experience Exhibitions. The Kindergartners had a great time learning, laughing and playing at the museum. The highlight of their day was the picnic lunch and play time at the Desert Breeze Park. This park has a train, pond, splash pad, huge playground and a ton of other fun areas! Great place to take your kids if you are ever over in Chandler.

Fast-Paced Fun!

Cub Scout Pinewood Derby 2010

Cayden and his car before the big race! Cayden was feeling the pressure since he placed fourth overall last year!

GoldenEye, Gold Bullet or something like that ready to dominate!

Long story short, Carson begged to bring Cayden's car from last year hoping to race at the end for fun, but instead he was asked to race with the Scouts when they were short a car! Carson was beyond excited to be a part of the Pinewood Derby! I was a little hesitant to let him race with the car because it was not in racing shape anymore! One of the wheels was barely hanging on! LOL! Carson was having way too much fun to care if he was winning!

Rhett and Keira the preschool sweethearts cheering on their brothers!

Carson had a little too much fun lubing his car and made a huge mess! You should of seen his face and hands:-)

The top three fastest cars! Cayden's car dominated the race track and placed second overall!!!

Carson and Cayden with their Pinewood Derby trophies! These two had such a fun time racing their cars! This was Cayden's third and final Pinewood Derby. Mark has a nice two year break from building derby cars before Carson turns 8!!! Building an award winning car is quite stressful and time consuming, just ask Mark!

Congratulations to Cayden and Mark on your second place finish!

A+A+A+A+A=

Free Doughnuts!

Krispy Kreme Doughnuts reward students with a doughnut for every "A" on their report card. Cayden made history and brought home a report card full of A's for the first time! Yep, that's right, straight A's! Those that know Cayden and his medical history know that this is a HUGE and not easy accomplishment for Cayden! So, we went out on the town and collected all the "FREE" things we could find for good grade getting kids like Cayden! Besides Krispy Kreme's, we also went to Blockbuster and Chuck E. Cheese! Anyone else know of any other places that reward kids for good grades? Cayden enjoying every moment of his much-earned reward!

Krispy Kreme doughnuts may be full of fat and sugar, but they sure make people happy when they are eating them! Way to go, Cayden!

Lucky Saint Patrick's Day with the D-backs!

Spring Training Game
Arizona Diamondbacks vs. Los Angeles Angels
Spring Break 2010

Cayden making a video for MLB!

Cayden, Carson and Keira sporting green hair in honor of St. Patty's Day! The green didn't wash out of their hair for days! LOL!

A very lucky day for Carson because he finally got his favorite baseball player's autograph! Yep, that would be #6 Stephen Drew! Score!

Carson had waited sometime (two years) for this moment with Stephen Drew and then his marker wouldn't work! Carson had left the cap off too long.

Don't worry, he still got the autograph thanks to a very nice man lending his pen to Carson!

Even Cayden got Stephen Drew's autograph! Go Cay Cay!

Both boys got an autograph from infielder, Augie Ojeda!

This is another favorite player of Carson's, outfielder, Gerardo Parra. Parra had Carson throw him the ball and then he started to walk off with the ball! You should of seen Carson's face. Then after about 10 seconds Parra turned around and started laughing and finally came over and signed the ball. Parra actually gave Carson a few balls last season at a few of the D-backs games. We like to sit in the outfield where Parra plays!

Cayden and # 18 Gerardo Parra!

Thanks to Carson and his green hair, toothless grin and loud voice, pretty much every player would come over and sign his ball first! Carson had quite the following of fans seeking autographs because they knew he was attracting the players! So fun to watch:-)

Carson and Infielder Rusty Ryal! Rusty made Carson's day when he told Carson his hair was cool!

My green haired kiddo getting #10 Justin Upton's autograph! Wow!

Please, please, sign my ball Chris Snyder (catcher)!

Nom nom nom! Hot dogs and baseball go hand in hand!

The final autograph before the game started, starting catcher, Miguel Montero! Go Carson!

Enjoying the food, drinks, game and warm sun! It was in the mid 80's that day!

Mark and Keira! Keira is such a daddy's girl and Mark loves it!

Lucky to be us! Our section scored $5 gift cards to Claim Jumper!

Carson totally into his autographed ball! He sat in his seat and stared at his ball! So cute.

Mark wore a green St. Patty's Day necklace and I wore a green shamrock headband so we didn't get pinched by our kids! I just love my husband! Thank you for planning such a fun St. Patty's day for our family! Oh, and thanks for letting me borrow your sunglasses:-)

We got LUCKY and scored big with the D-backs on St. Patty's Day! Saint Patrick's Day 2010 the Fryer 5ive will never forget!

Idaho/Utah - The End

The house where my Grandpa was born 80 years ago! I can't believe this house is still standing. On the way out of town, we stopped by the Grace cemetery and checked out my Grandparent's headstone that they designed. It is sad to think that one day they will be buried here.

As we always do when in Logan, Utah, we treated ourselves to some famous Aggie ice cream while on the Utah State Campus! I've been eating this stuff since I was a baby!

My Mom and I on the top floor of the Joseph Smith Memorial building in Salt Lake City. Mark proposed to me here many moons ago back when there was an outdoor observation area!

We had a excellent and homemade meal at the Lion House Pantry! I love their rolls:-)

My sis, Karisa, my Mom and I at the heart of Temple Square!

Touring the Conference Center of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. This is the largest religious and theater auditorium in the world. This place is massive and beautiful!

On the roof top of the Conference Center!

Adventures in Idaho - Day 3

The Birthday boy the morning after his birthday party! I love my Grandpa's sense of humor:-) What a beautiful view my Grandparents have from their back patio! I'm jealous.

Out touring the farm with my Aunt DeAnn! To read more about the family farm check this article out: http://www.spudman.com/inthemagazine.html?ns=1102

And this is what grows on Grandpa's farm! Potatoes, Idaho potatoes! The farm raises around 350 acres of potatoes and 2200 acres of wheat, barley and alfalfa.

My Mom and I getting a little crazy in the potato cellar!

SLASH (the party bus)! This is the only picture I have of my brother, Tanner, on our trip! We sent him home a little early! Ha ha!

My Aunt Phyllis, Aunt Brenda and I eating and catching up! Thanks for the yummy dinner.
