*Opening Day 2010*

Monday, April 5, 2010

The Fryer 5ive and D.Baxter the Bobcat (our favorite cat), the Arizona Diamondbacks Mascot.

Jets flew over Chase Field during Opening Day ceremonies after the singing of the National Anthem.

What would a D-backs game be without Cheetos Flamin' Hot Limon chips?

Cayden always has to get a pepperoni pizza from Peter Piper!

Thumbs up for Carson being tall enough this season for the batting cage and becoming a member of the No Chew Crew!

Carson swinging away in the big league-style batting cage!

Cayden up to bat!

Keira having fun playing on the playground at the SANDLOT!

Raise the roof for a sellout crowd (49,192) on Opening Day 2010! Check the Jumbo Tron out!

Keira loves the Baxter slide!

Carson had to stop by and see Bobby the organ guy! We all love looking at his World Series ring! Yep, even Bobby got a ring when the D-backs won the World Series back in 2001!

We love D-backs baseball!!!

Two kids out on the drive home! Score! Keira fell asleep with her hands still in the bag of Cheetos!

Hippity, Hoppity............

Easter Morning 2010

The Fryers had a GREAT Easter morning! Cayden, Carson and Keira got lots of goodies from the Easter bunny (we are still eating the candy a month later)! We had a Easter egg hunt in the backyard with a little drama over the gold and silver eggs, but all ended well! The kids had fun breaking confetti eggs, spraying silly string and blowing bubbles with neighbors, Austin and Zoe. Our front yard was a huge mess and for some odd reason I cleaned up after the little mess makers! That's the Easter Spirit!!!! I made a yummy Easter lunch/dinner and we then spent the rest of the day eating junk, resting and sleeping since there was no church do to General Conference!

Egg-citing!

Easter Egg Dyeing & Decorating 2010

Cayden, Carson and Keira each had their own egg dye, decorating kit and a dozen eggs to prevent any major fights! LOL!

I think Carson had more dye on his hands than his eggs!

Look at my egg! Keira loves the color pink and purple!

Carson concentrating real hard while dyeing his eggs!

All done! I love the little pink dot of dye on the tip of Keira's nose. The dot didn't come off for a few days!

Cayden dyeing his eggs and hands! Note there are two egg dippers just sitting there.

Toy Story, Hello Kitty and Star Wars stickers and egg stands!

Carson, Savannah, Ava, Keira, Zoe, Cayden and Bannon on Easter Eve! Our 8 foot tall light up Bunny is always lots of fun for the neighborhood kids! We actually get quite a few cars that pull up to let their kids take a closer look:-)

Bronco Boys

NFL Flag Football
Spring Season 2010

Carson is playing in the 6-8 year old division for the Broncos. His team is currently 3-0! I'm lovin' his blue mouthpiece and orange socks!

Carson absolutely enjoys playing flag football! The only thing he wishes he could do is tackle his opponents like the Arizona Cardinals do on TV. LOL! Carson has tried a few times to block/push and we he have to remind him that he can't do that in flag football! Coach Lou thinks we need to sign him up for tackle football in the future!

Go get 'em, Carson!

Air Carson trying to intercept the football! Nice!

Cayden is playing in the 9-11 year old division for the Broncos. His team is currently 4-1!

Cayden and the Bronco's in a team huddle before their game! Cayden is so dang tall.

Run, Cayden, run!

When Cayden found out that Carson was going to play flag football, he asked if he could play too! I was shocked that he wanted to play sports after taking a few years off. Playing sports does not come easy for Cayden due to his low muscle tone, but he had played flag football in P.E. class and thought it was fun. The coaches and his teammates have been especially good to Cayden! It makes me so happy to see his teammates out their coaching Cayden and including him!

Go Broncos!

Lil' Gardener

My kids have been infatuated with my garden area (mud patch) the past few months. Keira has enjoyed making mud pieshttp://markandjaimefryer.blogspot.com/2010/03/arizona-mud-pies.html and Carson decided that he was going to try his hand at gardening! While digging, Carson found a few new pet worms!

My lil' gardener was so excited to show me the pretty flowers he planted and the pond he made for me (so sweet)! Not bad for an amateur!

Mud plus Carson equals endless hours of fun, but of course, not without a mess!
