Keira ready to get on stage and perform!

Keira and Sidney warming up and being silly before their recital!

Keira with her tumbling instructor, Miss Shannon!

The family after Keira's recital!

Keira was so excited that Aunt Abby came to watch her perform!

On Saturday, May 22, Keira participated in her very first dance and tumbling recital! Her class routine was hilarious to watch. All the girls were so cute dressed in pink leotards and curly piggy tails! Keira had everyone laughing when she shook her head at her instructor and didn't want to do her cartwheel. Keira told me afterwards that she didn't want to do her somersaults in the routine because she was afraid she was going to fall off the stage! Silly little girl:-)

Broncos 9-11 Football End Of Season Wrap Up!

Cayden's got the ball!

Cayden being congratulated by his team after scoring a safety (2 points)!

Cayden receiving his football trophy at the end of the season pizza and pool party! The coaches referred to Cayden as their "Good Luck Charm"!

The Bronco's coaching staff and their thank you gift from the players and parents!

The 9-11 year old Broncos ended their Spring season with a second place finish in the championship game! The highlight of the playoffs was when Cayden scored a safety (two points)by taking possession of the QB's flag in the opponents own end zone. What a great way for Cayden to end the season on such a positive note! Congratulations 9-11 Broncos on an awesome second place finish!

Broncos 6-8 Football End Of Season Wrap Up!

Carson after scoring his first touch down of the season in the playoffs!

End of season pizza and pool party! Look at all that pizza and hungry boys!

Carson receiving his football trophy from his coaches! Coach Kraig had some very nice things to say about Carson.

The Broncos Spring Season of flag football has officially wrapped up! Carson was on fire during the playoffs and scored his first touch down (6 points)! He was handed the ball from the QB, took off down the field and never looked back! Carson ran the entire length of the field with the other team right on him, but no one could get his flag! I wasn't expecting it so I didn't catch it on camera until after the fact! Darn it. Carson's team made it to the championship game and placed second to the Dolphins. The Broncos had beat the Dolphins every game this season. The Dolphins decided to recruit a kid for the last few games of the season that played both offense and defense the entire game, scored every point and won them the championship. Fair? No, but what can you do? Carson and a few of his teammates shed many tears over their loss in the championship game, but ended the day on a fun note at their pizza and pool party. Food and fun always seem to make things better:-) Congratulations 6-8 Broncos on a great Spring Season!

Preschool's Out for the Summer!

Keira headed out to her last day of Preschool!
Keira and her awesome Preschool teacher, Sister Welker, on the last day of school.

Keira now has one year of preschool education under her belt! She absolutely loved every minute of preschool and would of gone seven days a week had it been an option! Keira adores her preschool teacher so much that her new baby doll is named after her! LOL! It is amazing how much Keira has learned this past year. Thanks to preschool, Keira does a great job of singing/dancing the months of the year and saying The Pledge of Allegiance! A big thank you to Sister Welker for being such a wonderful and fun teacher. Keira can't wait for her second year of preschool to start up!

All Fish Go To Heaven!

Carson's beloved beta fish, which he had for 10 months, died Monday. Stephen was a beautiful red fish named after Stephen Drew, #6 of the Arizona Diamondbacks. Stephen was a good fish. He never pooped or peed on the carpet or woke us up during the middle of the night! In fact, he never made any noise at all. We are sad to see Stephen go, but we know he is in a better place. One where his fish tank gets cleaned more than once a month!
Rest in peace, Stephen Drew.

Fryer Family Flour Fun!

Try saying that 5 times in a row really fast! Now that's a tongue twister.

Mark's family played the flour game when he was growing up and Mark has waited until recently to share the fun game with his own family (he claims we played once when we were first married). I thought I would share it with all of you for something to do with your own family and friends!

Start by filling a 1 cup measuring cup with flour, pressing down tightly until it is packed really full. Put a plate on top and invert lifting the cup off. You should have a flour tower. Now carefully place a piece of candy on top (we used Life Savers).

One at a time take a slice of the flour tower with a knife, trying not to disturb the candy!

Even three year olds can play!

The person who makes the candy and flour tower fall must retrieve the candy from the plate with their teeth, keeping their hands behind their back.

Warning! This game can get a little messy!

Carson's turn to dive in after knocking the flour tower over!

And he retireved the Life Saver!

Mark's turn. He gets the award for least amount of flour on his face.

My turn and Carson was right there to push my face down into the flour! LOL!

Keira didn't want to put her face into the flour, but her two brothers dived right in for her!

Flour boy!

Give the Fryer Family Flour Fun game a try and let us know what you think!
